PICpatch LLC participated at the Force Protection Equipment Demonstration (FPED) VIIl on May 17-19, 2011 in Stafford, VA. (Booth 22-Q)
The FPED VIII objective was to provide leaders and decision-makers from DOD, Federal departments and agencies, and selected federal, state and local law enforcement and corrections agencies the opportunity to observe and become familiar with COTS physical security and force protection equipment available for procurement and testing within 90 days of the demonstration.
The FPED provides knowledgeable decision makers the opportunity to meet with manufacturers who may have physical security and force protection equipment to address their security or force protection short falls. Its format provides the opportunity to physically view, interact, and compare similar equipment provided by different manufacturers. The interaction between the attendees and manufactures creates a valuable synergy when vendors are provided direct user feedback that could enhance future improvements to their products.
